In 2002, the members of Teignmouth United Reformed Church became aware
of the need for some nursery provision in the heart of town that could offer full and part time care to the people of Teignmouth and surrounding areas. The Trustees were appointed and the Church Meeting voted for the school area of the church building to be transformed into a Nursery for the community

The day to day running of the Nursery is run by the Manager and has no relation with the church so there is no requirement for children or their families to have any involvement with the church.

Downstairs in our Nursery we have our Baby Unit with a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children with lots of fun and stimulating toys and activities for the 0-2 yr olds.

Upstairs we have a more structured room for our 2-5yr olds with a planned curriculum to suit each individual child’s needs.

We have regular outings to the library and play park and on rainy days we have a large hall we use for big play equipment and freeplay.
